Weight Gain

In the past Martin has found it hard to increase his body weight. Although he leads an active lifestyle, regularly playing football and attending circuit classes he felt he needed some extra guidance to assist him with his resistant training if he was going to gain some body weight and add new muscle mass.
Since starting with fitness beyond Martin has been working on his nutrition and strength training. In only 6 weeks he has increased his body weight by 11 lbs, added just under 2 inches to his chest and nearly an inch to each arm!
Martin’s strength and form has increased ten-fold and he will continue to work hard with fitness beyond to achieve his future goals!
Alex is selected for Scottish and British Youth teams
| June 2008 With a tough ski season ahead 14 year old Alex is back training with fitness beyond. After winning the slalom at the Welsh, English and Scottish Championships earlier this year Alex’s goal was to collect the gold in the slalom at the British Championships. After lying third in the first run, things didn’t seem to go to plan when she crashed out three gates from the end of the second run. Although she came away without the British title, Alex had done enough to get selected for the Scottish Team and the British Youth Team. As Alex steps up to the next level, she is back training with Scott and will be working even harder on her fitness for the up and coming season. |

Next season Alex will be training in France, Switzerland, Austria and America for several weeks at a time, as it is important for her to fit in lots of races. In November Alex also has the opportunity to attend trials in Switzerland for the Youth Olympic Games in 2009/2010. Eat more and lose weight!

Previously Margaret had been training very hard but her eating habits did not match her training and as a result she was not seeing the changes she hoped she would for all her efforts whilst exercising.
During the last 4 weeks Margaret has made a vast improvement on her nutrition, Margaret had been skipping meals thinking that eating less would help her lose weight but now she is eating more food and losing weight which is the ideal scenario. During the Last month Margaret lost an impressive 7 lbs on the scales!!
Margaret has now lost her first stone whilst training with fitness beyond and has reduced her body measurements by 8 inches!!

After seeing his weight peak around the end of last year Scott decided it was time to do something about it. Previously Scott had small amounts of success in trying to lose weight on his own but felt he wasn’t getting the results he deserved for his efforts.
Scott made a good start to the year losing half a stone by himself but he was finding it increasingly difficult to stay motivated.
Since working with fitness beyond Scott has made steady progress and has achieved a consistent weight reduction from the beginning. He has lost a further 22.5 lbs and has reduced his waist by around 4 inches and his chest by 3 inches!!
Charity Success!

Michael has now completed his 3 month Charity Challenge!
His journey started back 12 weeks ago where he set off to lose as much weight as he could whilst raising money for cancer research.
3 months on and michaels challenge was a double success, he has raised around £1300 for cancer research and personally lost 3 stone in weight!!
Michael has earned every £ he has raised and every pound he has lost due to his commitment from the off!

66 Pounds!

Since last month Chris has lost another 6 pounds on the scale, taking his total weight loss to 66 pounds since starting up with fitness beyond last year! Chris is now working towards increasing his muscle mass and will continue to work hard until he has reached his goal!!

Amanda has been training with fitness beyond for just over 3 weeks now and in this short period of time she is already showing good progress.
Amanda has been very disciplined and because of her efforts and work-rate in the gym she has already lost 6 lbs on the scale and just over 5 inches from her body measurments in only 3 weeks!

Sixty Pounds of Weight Loss!!

Chris has now reached an incredible amount of weight loss by reducing his overall bodyweight by a total of 60 lbs since he started up with fitness beyond last year.
Chris is still showing the same enthusiasim and commitment as he did when he started back in day one and I am confident that because of this he will exceed any goals that he sets himself this year!.

Michael has set himself a challenge to raise money for Cancer research!
Michael has given himself a 3 month period where he will work as hard as he can in and out of the gym aiming to lose as much weight as possible whilst transforming his body in the process.
Michael is already showing great progress, in 3 weeks he has lost 12 lbs on the scale, 3 inches from his belly and 2.5 inches off of his chest!! Excellent work!

Alex makes British Ski Team

14 years old Alex has been selected to represent Great Britain by making it into the British Children’s Ski Team.
Alex's parents contacted fitness beyond looking for assistance to help improve on her overall fitness levels. She has been working with fitness beyond for the last 4 months and her dedication and determination has seen her fitness levels improve 10 fold.
Alex was selected for the team in January this year after competing in the BARSC races which were held in France.
Over the next few months Alex will be representing Great Britain in 2 races, one in Spain and the other in Slovenia. Alex has also been selected to represent Scotland at the World School Championships in France and has further races in Italy and Switzerland.
After the season finishes Alex will be continuing to work even harder to achieve her next goal of making it into the Scottish Junior Team!
Member of the Month Winner!!

Beth has won this months 'Member of the month' competition at the Banks of Dee Sports Club. During the period of November/December last year Beth lost over a stone in weight making her a worthy overall winner of the health clubs monthly competition!!
4 Stone weight loss

Chris has now lost a total of 55 lbs of body weight and a staggering 12 inches off of his waist since he started up with fitness beyond. He has shown and excellent level of commitment from day one and because of this he has continued to make steady progress through his whole program.
Chris has smashed his weight loss goals for this year and will now re-think his new GOALS with fitness beyond for 2008!!!

Beth lost over a stone in weight during a 5 month period but contacted fitness beyond after her initial weight loss started to slow down.
Since working with fitness beyond she has lost a further 15 lbs in just under 7 weeks bringing her overall weight loss to around the 2 and a half stone mark.
Beth has been working really hard in the gym and has also shown great 'commitment and discipline' by sticking to her new and improved eating habits resulting in her moving closer to her overall goals with fitness beyond.

By eating sensibly and incorporating more exercise into her weekly routine Erika is starting to make steady progress for her efforts.
In just 4 weeks Erika has dropped several inches from her body measurments and has lost just under half a stone in body weight!!.
16 week Transformation

Since working with fitness beyond Gary has managed to regain back his fitness and transform his body in just 16 weeks.
From day one Gary set his goals high and because of his determination and discipline he has exceeded his goals, lost 7 inches from his belly, reduced his body weight by a stone and a half and achieved a full body transformation!
Gary is taking a well deserved family holiday before he starts working towards reaching his new Goals with fitness beyond!!

Since chris's progress check last month he is continuing to move forward and has added a further 11.5 lbs to his previous weight loss of 30.5 lbs.
Chris has now lost a total of 3 stones since working with fitness beyond and along with his weight loss he is showing a vast improvement in his overall fitness levels!!

Joanne has continued to make steady progress from last month and has lost a further 6 lbs on the scales and another 3.5 inches off her body measurements bringing her current totals to 12.5 lbs of weight loss and just over an 8 inch loss from her body measurments in just over 7 weeks!!.
Joanne is making great progress and is still rapidly seeing visible changes particularily in how her clothes are fitting!!

Joanne signed up with fitness beyond 3 weeks ago looking to improve on her overall physical fitness for her up and coming hockey season. In this short period of time Joanne has made excellent progress, reducing her bodyweight by just under half a stone and losing 4.5 inches from her body measurements.
Joanne goes to the gym 3 days a week, focusing between strength and fitness training. On top of her training Joanne has been following the nutrition pack and she is rapidly seeing the benefits for making the effort to prepare her meals and snacks in advance!!

In 10 weeks Chris has lost 30.5 lbs on the scale and has reduced his waist size by 5 1/2 inches!! Chris has a job that involves regular travelling and working away but this has not stopped him following his new schedule and because of this commitment he is making great progress.
Steady Progress

Since starting up with fitness beyond at the end of May this year, Brian has made excellent progress and has lost just under 3 inches from his waist, 2 inches from his chest and around a stone in weight!! Along with playing golf, Brian goes to the gym 3 times a week, mixing up his sessions between weight training and cardio exercise.
From day one Brian has been consistant and as a result of his healthier eating choices and increased exercise he is continuing to make steady progress in and out of the gym.
Just over 2 stone in 10 weeks

Danny has completed his 10 week plan just in time for his holiday. During this time Danny has lost over 2 stone in weight and 6 inches from his stomach whilst adding muscle definition to his arms and chest. Danny has been totally dedicated from day one and has achieved a great result down to his own hard work and commitment.

Elaine came to fitness beyond looking to get a structure in order that she could fit around her work giving her a bit of extra motivation she needed to get her health and fitness back on the right track. With a job that requires unsociable and demanding hours, Elaine quickly realised that she had very little time to exercise and because of this her diet became quick food on the go.
From the get-go Elaine has been fully committed to her plan and she is already showing great progress losing 10 lbs and just under 6 inches from her body measurements in only 5 weeks!

Around the tail end of last year John contacted fitness beyond looking for some extra motivation to help lose some unwanted pounds. He managed to lose a stone on his own by cutting back on the junk food and alcohol but soon realised that if he was to continue to make progress he would need to incorporate more exercise.
Since working with fitness beyond John's fitness levels have increased '10 fold'. John has lost 10 inches from his belly and in addition to his initial weight loss of a stone he has added a further 3 stone bringing his total weight loss to 4 stone!!...........Impressive stuff
John has a hectic work/social schedule, but he now makes no excuses and makes time on a weekly basis to exercise and because of this he is continuing to make steady progress!!

After picking up an injury through sports, Dannys fitness and weight dipped in the wrong direction. Danny made a descision to change, and has now been training with fitness beyond for just under 7 weeks. In this short time he has made great progress and to this date he has lost just over a stone and a half on the scales and has decreased his stomach area by nearly 6 inches!!...Great effort
The results of Dannys impressive weight loss has been down to a mixture of short and intense cardio sessions, weight training, healthy eating and of course hard work on his part!!
Danny is continuing to work hard in the gym and is determined to reach his GOALS with fitness beyond.
Another half-a-stone

Since Davie progress check last month, Davie has continued to make steady gains and has lost another 7 lbs, add this to the 17 lbs he has already lost and he now has a total weight-loss of 24 lbs in only 8 weeks!!
Sue Completes Marathon

As a keen runner Sue started with fitness beyond looking to improve on her nutrition and overall body conditioning. After working with fitness beyond on her strength training and a food plan, Sue started to feel the benefits and noticed she had more energy to fuel her workouts and improve on her running times.
Sue is very disciplined and because of this and her hard work-rate she has lost 12.5 lbs and a total of 10 inches from her body measurments going from a clothes size of 10-12 to a 8-10 in only 6 weeks!
Sue has just completed the London Marathon and completed the race in under 4 hours which is an excellent effort considering this years race hit record hights for the unseasonal heat hitting a whopping 21C!

Davie came to fitness beyond looking to regain back some of his previous fitness, which in the past has seen him run a half marathon and a mini triathlon. Davie knew his fitness had declined due to poor eating habits, little exercise and lack motivation levels.
Since working with fitness beyond Davie has visually improved his fitness and is consciously making better choices when it comes to food. Davie has been working hard and In just under 6 weeks he has lost an impressive 4 inches from his waist and a total of 17 lbs off of the scales!

With his annual skiing holiday in mind, Ewan joined up with fitness beyond working towards improving his overall fitness levels whilst shedding a few pounds at the same time.
Although Ewan has a busy schedule he still made time to consistantly go to the gym and for his efforts he lost an impressive 7 inches from his belly in 14 weeks and just over a stone on the scales.

After clocking up years of gym memberships and making very little progress in return Dave is starting to make the kind of gains he deserves for his efforts.
Dave had been 100% committed from day one and with only five and a half weeks passed he has already lost 20.5 lbs on the scale and 3.5 inches off of his waist!
Dave has shown great discipline and he is determined to achieve his goals and reach his full potential!

With 5 weeks before his holiday, Mark decided to knuckle down and get his head stuck into a training plan with fitness beyond.
Mark was very motivated and committed and for his efforts he lost an impressive 4.5 inches from his stomach area and 11.5 lbs on the scale, and all in only 5 weeks!!!
Finally Fit at 50

Due to poor eating habits and her quiting smoking last year Brenda had gained some unwanted pounds and wasnt happy with herself.
She made the decision to do something about it and with the prospect of turning 50 this year she joined a gym and started to get fit for the first time in her life.
Brenda lost over 11 inches and dropped several clothes sizes for all her efforts! She now feels younger, she looks fantastic and she has more energy when playing with her grandkids.

Since working along-side fitness beyond Carolyn has lost an amazing 41 lbs and just over a total of 27 inches from her body measurements!!

Fitness Beyond would like to congratulate Kay and Shelby who got married on Saturday the 7th of October.
Between them both and their hectic schedules they have lost over 31.5 lbs and around 17 inches from their total body measurements, achieving a great result on the lead upto their wedding day.
Along with Kay and Shelby, Laura (bridesmaid) has toned up and lost over 5 inches whilst improving her overall fitness levels!

Natacha has a busy day to day schedule, but that hasn't stopped her making a commitment to herself to be healthier and get in shape!
She plans her training schedule on a weekly basis and sticks to her plan even when time is not on her side!
Natacha has made great progress and has lost 20.5lbs. She now has a good understanding about training and nutrition and has found a balance that suits her.

Lorraine Wilkie has been hand picked from thousands of applicants as the 18-30 category Winner of the 2005 EAS/Body for Life challenge.
Lorraine attended the awards ceremony in Birmingham earlier this month where she was presented with her prizes for her outstanding achievements.
Finalist in National Competition

Since completing her program with fitness beyond, Lorraine has been selected as a finalist in a national body and life transformation competition here in the UK.
2 months after finishing her program, Lorraine has managed to maintain her new body whilst improving her fitness levels even further.
She now has the chance of winning some very attractive prizes and although the prizes are a great incentive, the recognition she has been given for all her hard work from such a major organisation amounts to so much more!!
