If you’ve been sticking to your healthy food plan but find at times certain meals/snacks can cause you to feel pain and discomfort then there’s a good chance you could be suffering from food sensitivities/intolerances.
Even if you are consistently making healthy choices sensitivities and intolerances to food and drink ingredients can potentially bring about digestive issues resulting in extreme stomach cramps and bloating. This can often occur when you are eating out as you are not in control of all the ingredients that go into your meal.
Although these side effects may only be temporary, you can see by the above pictures that adding something as small as garlic to a meal that you regularly eat can result in extreme bloating. The bloat can also confuse you to thinking that it’s actual weight gain and mentally throw you off track.
Keeping a food diary to pin point what has actually caused the problem is a good start and once you learn more about your body you will learn to make informed choices!
