14 years old Alex was selected to represent Great Britain by making it into the British Children’s Ski Team.
After winning the slalom at the Welsh, English and Scottish Championships earlier this year Alex’s goal was to collect the gold in the slalom at the British Championships. After lying third in the first run, things didn’t seem to go to plan when she crashed out three gates from the end of the second run.
Although she came away without the British title, Alex had done enough to get selected for the Scottish Team and the British Youth Team. As Alex steps up to the next level, she is back training with Scott and will be working even harder on her fitness for the up and coming season which see her training in France, Switzerland, Austria and America.
